I would like to thank each one of you that has taken the time to visit  our store  and we are so grateful to each of you. We started this journey back in August of 2005 with our store that provided quality products with great service. We felt  truly blessed and it felt good to donate our time as a family  on Monday nights to feed the homeless at the church outreach Mission. I can still remember how happy my parents and our church members were being of service to our community.

We had no way of knowing all our lives would be changed that month. I remember the city leaders giving the call to evacuate and me making the decision to stay behind. I watched from the second floor as the store filled with water and completed covered the first floor up to the ceiling. Hurricane Katrine was able to destroy what it had taken over 25 years to build in a matter of minutes.

I watched and prayed from the second floor wondering when the city would turn on the pumps so the water could be removed. Seven days later as I was being rescued and seeing the city totally under water  made it hard to hold back the tears. 

We vowed that day, to rebuild the store one day and that day is today. The mission of this store will be to treat every customer like a member of our family. We will provide you a quality product and great service. We will be thankful for each of you that visit our site. We feel so blessed and honored that you would take the time to visit our store. We truly hope that you find something that provides your home with that “Make it a Dream Home” feeling.
